8 Powerful Steps to Positive Thinking

8 powerful steps to positive thinking

I’m sure you have a bright idea hidden somewhere in the back of your mind that you just can’t wait to test out. Of course you’re not the only one with the bright idea. So what motivates you to churn those creative, or even inspiring juices to its utmost flavor?

It’s always best to set up a personal goal where you can accomplish the most in record time, maybe like mowing the lawn in an hour before the big game on TV. A correct and positive attitude in whatever you do will make things easier, and even enjoyable.

Here are some tips to make it through the week even if you’re just sitting in your favorite couch. An idea takes time to form in your head and is always at work while you are busy sitting.

Having a bit of positive thinking can help you realize things that are never thought possible.

Here are 8 Powerful Steps to Positive Thinking

1. Take passionate action towards living your life by design. Talk is cheap. Action = deposits in the bank of a passionately authentic future. Without it, passion is void.

This is a perfect example where dreams are made of where you start by tinkering with your mind, then with your hands. And if the idea weakens, you can always go back to it later until you finish it.

You are Your Greatest Teacher 4 Steps to Find Your Inner Voice2. Commit to yourself as well as those you love to create powerfully a life you can love. Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear. The American Dream will always be there, but a dream will still be a dream without motion. Be amazed as the transformation begins.

3. Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome. Every time you hit on something that may appear too extreme, why not give it a shot and see if it will work. You will be surprised to see of there are other ways to get the task done in time. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift.power of positive thinking

4. Dwell completely in a place of gratitude. Learn to utilize what you have in your hands and make use of it in the most constructive way. Slipping into neediness will become less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness.

5. Use a Passion Formula of Recognize/Reevaluate/Restore in place of the Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda whirlwind. The former is based in increased knowledge and abundance while the latter focuses on scarcity and lack. As you face people or tasks that may seem harder than scaling the summit of the Himalayas, allow yourself to realize that the task is just as important as giving out orders to your subordinates. You would rather be richly passionate!

6. Keep humor at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible. You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up! I am yet to see a comedian ever go hungry even though his jokes are as ‘old as great-grandma’. Life has so much to offer to allow you to mope around in self pity. Humor is very attractive, very passionate: life-giving.

live-in-the-moment-min-min7. Believe that you are the architect of your destiny. No one can take your passionate future from you except for you! Create your life authentically. As long as there’s still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime. The concept of thinking big is all about enjoying your work, which would lead to celebrate a discovery that is born within your hands. Watch everything flow into place with perfect, passionate precision.

8. Focus on what you want and not what you don’t want. Like attracts like. Our thoughts have power!

5 Ways To Rediscover Yourself

rediscover yourself

On the surface it seems an odd idea that you could actually be anything other than who you really are. But from the time we can talk, we’re being programmed to “fit in”. We find ourselves conforming in order to please the people we love, and who love us.

But sometimes that means that you have to suppress what you know is the real person inside. And yet, your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you’ll ever have. Without a healthy relationship with yourself, it’s practically impossible to have healthy relationships with anyone else.

If you’re ready to get re-acquainted with someone you haven’t seen in a while – yourself – start with these 5 ideas to help you rediscover the real you.

Quiet the noise in your head.

You know those voices well, the ones that are constantly nagging you to pick up the dry cleaning, talk to the school teacher, juggle the bills, schedule the vet, keep the boss happy. With all that noise going on, it will be impossible for you to hear anything above the din. This MUST be the first step. How do you do that? By setting up systems, simplifying, and establishing enough extras in your life to allow you to operate from a position of abundance, instead of lack.

Think About Yourself in Healthy Ways

In order to do that, you must first believe that you are valuable, and your Real Self has something to offer the world. Since you talk to yourself more than everyone else in your life combined –that’s a lot of talk!—it’s up to YOU to establish the healthy communication in your thinking. Consciously listen to how you talk to yourself; write down the unhealthy things you say; challenge them; and replace them with facts.

Self-Talk

“You never do anything right.” Challenge: “Of course I do things right. I did (example) right. I did (example) right. This time, I just made a mistake. I’ll learn from it and have better success next time.”

Listen to your heart.

Sounds easy enough, but by the time we’re adults, most of us have stopped listening to our hearts and go only with our heads. Those two must reconnect in order to find your real self. It’s easy to become accustomed to thinking about your feelings instead of really feeling them. Instead of asking yourself what you think about something, ask why it’s important.

Don’t get hung up on specifics

What you’re really after is a feeling — respect, love, appreciation – as opposed to the company car, or a great guy/girl. Keep an open mind to the feelings, and be willing to adjust the methods you use to achieve them. Determine not just your goals, but how it satisfies who you really are. The mask will come off and your real self will come shining through.

A person you can know and love – you!

– is waiting for you to take the time to listen and understand and accept. When you accept your Real Self again, you’ll make smarter choices, and those choices will stick because they actually fit who you are. Now, that’s what you’re really looking for, isn’t it?

Is Your Past Limiting You?

is your past holding you back

By Nanice Ellis Contributing Writer for SoulScience

Are you unconsciously creating your future by holding onto past memories?

When we identify with past memories, we unconsciously create future events based on a very biased interpretation of our personal history. We might have dreams and desires for the future, but the belief in limitation that comes from preserving past memories, often inhibits those dreams and desires from manifesting. If you suddenly lost your memories of the past, your future would drastically change. But you don’t have to get amnesia to wake up, and become a conscious creator. From an awakened state, we learn from the past, but then we let it go – along with all perception of limitation. From this state of Now, we look to the future and we project our limitless desires out onto the screen that we call tomorrow.

Incantation:

I am a conscious and timeless creator.
I am not bound to my memories of the past.
I live fully in this moment.
I have dreams and desires without limitation.
I use the power of my imagination
to envision exactly what I choose for my life.
So Be It.

This is your life, live it well.

How to Create Wealth Energy

how to create wealth energy

We live in an abundant world. The purpose of the abundance is so that we live happy, contented lives. Everyone has the right to it. That is how life is meant to be. It has often been suggested that every day, fourteen trillion dollars exchange hands and yet many of us suffer the lack, bowed down by life in fact. Basically, it all boils down to how we perceive money.

Money is a neutral energy. It has a value attributed by society that is a vehicle for us to exchange for materials needed to live. Spirituality that neglects money matters is ignorant spirituality. Mention spirituality that neglects money matters to people bent already from working all day without getting enough to pay for the basic necessities in life and chances are good for being scorned for hypocrisy.

On the other hand, people who have enough money have greater options to pursue better things to enrich the soul. It is the acquisition of it, whatever the cost like trampling other people down in the process and disregarding everything else is what makes it not spiritually edifying. Money and the meaning it brings are directly proportional to how well you are able to tap into the spiritual energy for creating wealth. This does not mean though that people who are very wealthy are spiritual, far from it. In the same manner, it also does not mean that people who have less money are always less happy. There are general principles, though, that improves the chances of tapping into the spiritual energy that prepares us to acquire wealth.

To Have or Not To Have

This is self-image. Whatever we want happens. All of us have the potential to have or not to have, to be or not to be. We could be a vegetarian, a football fan, a family man, a priest, a star or a eunuch. The choices are endless. No matter, it still boils down to how we perceive things and how we react to them. If we believe in our hearts that we could be a millionaire without the self-doubt, we can. Faith and belief that is certain and with conviction, without inner conflicts ultimately prepares all of us to achieve things that other people could only call luck. Believing in who you are and what you are capable of doing starts the ball of opportunity rolling to your direction. All that is left is your ability to recognize it and act on it.

Thoughts

Everything starts with thoughts. Where you are now, how you have become, your house, your job, your wife, your choices are results of thought processes that you entertained years ago. The freedom to choose is not really freedom if the thought process has limited your choices to only those that you think are impossible. If you think you are the victim, you will act like one. If you think you are the innovator, you will one day find the opportunity to be one. Thinking is power. It directs life to how we should become. It also limits it when we choose to. The first freedom is to choose to free the thoughts from limitations. Then other processes set in. Rene Descartes would not have said it any better – “I think therefore I am”.

Speech

Words are very powerful. Speech follows whatever we think. When we say something, we declare to ourselves what we want to become and we believe it. Believing is one of the greatest of motivators and so speak something, declare it, be convinced by it. When doubt is not entertained in the mind, actions will follow.

The Secret that Shatters Self Limitation

shatters self limitation

by Guy Finley Guest Writer for SoulScience

Key Lesson: The real reason people remain captives of unwanted circumstances in their lives is because they’ve yet to realize this great spiritual secret: Resistance is negative attraction. In other words: the longer we dwell on what we don’t want in life, the larger grows that dark dwelling place in which we find ourselves living.

The Secret that Shatters Self-Limitation

As life pours itself out in the stream of passing time, and we run into challenges seemingly greater than our ability to answer — each of these encounters “asks” this question of us:

“Are you willing to change (who you have been) in order to realize a higher possibility of yourself?” And though moments like these trouble us because of their uncertainty, here’s why we should be very grateful for their continuing appearance in our lives: this unwanted experience of realizing our limitations is the only way life can ask us if we wish to go beyond them.So this unknown moment of not understanding (what is to be) is actually the beautiful seed of a new order of our being, providing we’re willing to see it as such.

Unfortunately, most of us automatically resist the unknown. Whenever we can’t understand the nature of some unwanted situation we fall, by default, into the hands of a nature whose answer to this ache is always the same: get negative and then try to protect ourselves from anything that can’t be otherwise controlled. The rest takes place in us on automatic pilot: in the wink of an eye, we begin to see the “way out” of our situation: blame him, fix that, fight or flee. But here’s what we don’t see: in that moment, our guiding light is a dark reaction dedicated, in one way or another, to avoiding what that moment came to give us. This false nature takes what was a celestially planned event — for the purpose of our further spiritual perfection — and turns it into a dead end.

Time and time again interior trials such as these return to help us see one thing: we can’t get past them as long as we remain who and what we have been — because who and what we have been is what we are meeting in these same moments! Another way of stating this same insight is startling: resisting what life shows us — not wanting those moments wherein we’re invited to see the truth about our present level of self — ensures they will return again! This is the interior meaning of reincarnation: the re-creation of self through resistance to the negative effects of its own manifestations. It doesn’t have to be this way. We are meant to rise above creation, not repeat our life through it in ever-descending cycles.

There’s only one way for us to transcend the limitations of our present nature. First, we must see this one great fact:these limitations don’t belong to us any more than the clumsy body of the caterpillar belongs to the butterfly liberated from its husk. Then, we must act on this new understanding by daring to let go of any part of us that wants us to embrace its limited view of life as our own.

True freedom is not an achievement; it is our awakened relationship and participation with the genesis of real life. We cannot create a life without limits by trying to overcome what we think stands in our way. Real limitless living is the fruit of this higher understanding: what is in our way is part of the Way. To know this is to know that all of creation has been made for you, just as surely as you have been made for everything that happens to you within it.

Spiritual Growth and Why it Matters

spiritual growth and why it matters

Spiritual growth has always been integral to an individual’s sense of well being, even before mankind has conceptualized the term and digested it in a multitude of ways that it eventually sprung up different methodologies on how one can build upon it. You name it – yoga, karma, or maybe reincarnation. There are so many that they range from the most mystical to the most practical. But whether you are already treading your own “spiritual path”, or in deep need of spiritual fulfillment, a deep understanding of what spirituality is can be very helpful in more ways than one.

In order for us to fully comprehend what spirituality means, perhaps it is essential that we discuss the meaning of the root word itself, which is spirit. Spirit is an intangible property, one that alludes to something incorporeal, something mysterious and not bound by the material world. The most hailed scholar and physicist, Albert Einstein, alluded to spirituality through these words: “The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious – the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science.” This brings us to the two things that he mentioned – art and science. These two indulgences have dominated human’s consciousness in the process of achieving answers to the mysteries that have confounded us about the universe. These two distinct establishments, polar opposites they may be, have paved the way to advancement in the realm of technology and human awareness.

The search for answers is deeply rooted to our innate need to gain knowledge about ourselves, and how we are connected to everything around us. Mundane activities like fixing a car engine or observing an ant farm are unconscious manifestations of that need, and in consequence, related to spirituality. You only have to read Robert M. Pirsig’s magnum opus, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, to understand what I’m talking about. While this contradicts the idea of spirituality as something not bound in the material world, these physical avenues are helpful channels that allow us to achieve that transcendence, and in turn present to us a peek into the mysterious.

Some individuals achieve spiritual sustenance through the means of meditation. Meditation is a process of serious contemplation, or turning inward to reach a profound state of peacefulness, focus and awareness. The practice of meditation has originated from the Eastern cultures, and has been adapted by the West in the form of prayer. Buddhist monks are astute in their belief that meditation is the way to Enlightenment, which explains the sanguine temperament by which they deal with other people.

A common misconception most individuals make is having the notion that spirituality is exclusive to religion. While it’s true that religion has helped a lot of people to lead spiritual lives, it only represents a few facets that constitute the full meaning of spirituality. Spirituality is a confluence, a heightened understanding of what we are and how we are connected to the whole spectrum of existence, and the discernment that every little thing is equally essential and dependent on each other.

21 Ways We Waste Our Vital Life Forces

vital life force

by Guy Finley Contributing Writer for SoulScience

All creatures in life are created to reach their natural fruition. The Great Life generously provides all of them with everything they need to fulfill their promise. This same abundance holds true for our spiritual awakening as well. Everything we need to succeed is forever raining down upon and within us.

The spiritually awakened life is not something that one achieves, like an award for fine art or some other measured performance. The true Higher Life comes to us naturally and reveals and expresses itself in anyone who realizes that, like the sun above us, this Living Light within us is always present.

It is we who are absent from this eternally indwelling Life, not because these vital forces are withheld from us, but because we waste them. Following are 21 Ways We Waste our Vital Life Forces, and for whose loss we remain sound asleep spiritually. Study these thieves closely and catch them in the act of stealing your chances for Higher Life as they drain away your vital life forces.

  1. All forms of useless talking
  2. Being wrongly involved in the life of anyone else
  3. Daydreams of any nature
  4. Using excessive emotions
  5. Keeping “accounts” on those who have displeased you
  6. Sitting in judgment of anyone for any reason
  7. Becoming identified with anything
  8. Useless thinking, such as speculating “why?”
  9. Overindulging yourself
  10. Resisting your environment or the unpleasant manifestations of others
  11. Being concerned with how others see you
  12. Defending yourself from imagined enemies, as with quips or sarcasm
  13. Puttering around in order to keep yourself feeling productive
  14. Any form of sexual imagination
  15. Rushing through or to anything
  16. All forms of frustration, including impatience and anger
  17. Doing anything in half measures, or leaving things hanging
  18. Telling “little” lies
  19. Taking part in any dialogue with yourself
  20. Seeking any form of vengeance or retribution, embracing resentment
  21. Wrestling with anxious feelings and trying to think your way out of pain

For extra benefit, make a list of ways you suspect your own vital forces are being wasted. Then stop throwing away your chance to know Real Life!

4 Ways to Liberate Yourself From the Lie of Fear

liberate from fear

Key Lesson: Go through any fear… and come out on the other side stronger, wiser, and less afraid. Go around any fear… and never come out.

The more we are willing to learn about the way fear works, the less power it has to work its ways on us. To help you better understand how fear undermines your right to be free, here are Four Facts to Help Liberate You From the Lie of Fear. Look upon each of these higher insights as a kind of spiritual window that, once opened by you, lets in the Living Light. With patient study and sincere self-work, you will learn their special secret lesson. Then watch in amazement as you realize the meaning of something you heard long ago, but never really understood: The Truth sets us free because no lie can live in its Light:

  1. Anxiously seeking to find some way to protect ourselves from the fear of something that may be coming our way is to punish ourselves in the present moment in the hope of avoiding it later!
  2. Fear’s power is that it uses the unseen contents of our own consciousness to twist and transform the unknown of what lies just ahead into something known to be dreaded in the now.
  3. Fear is the dark and imaginary distance between the coming possibility of an imagined challenge and the actual arrival of whatever that condition may be that our life then naturally sets itself to resolve.
  4. Rather than allowing our fears to find excuses for why we should walk away from what challenges us, we must choose instead to see that there can never be a good excuse for living with fear.

Spend as much time as you can pondering and working with these special truths about the lie of fear. Secreted within them are spiritual maps of a sort — living guides to instruct you how not only to walk out of fear’s darkened lair, but also how to construct a portable lantern that will light every step of your way.

3 Positive Steps To Discover Life Purpose

life purpose

In this article we will discuss the concept of life and its underlying principle. We will be going through a step by step procedure, exploring your feelings and options, and by the end of this article, you should have a fairly solid tool you could immediately employ in your life, to give it a meaningful direction.

There are three steps to the process of discovering the purpose of your life:

Understanding the principle of choice
Creating your underlying principle
Aligning your life with the underlying principle

Understanding the principle of choice

Norman Vincent Peale has this to say about the power of choice. “The greatest power we have is the power of choice. It is an actual fact, that if you have been groping under unhappiness, you can choose to be joyous, instead. And, by effort, lift yourself into joy. If you tend to be fearful, you can overcome that misery by choosing to have courage. The whole trend and the quality of anyone’s life is determined by the choice that are made”.

Choosing is the most important activity of your mind, because by making a choice, you are proclaiming your desires to your subconscious mind. Once the subconscious mind get to know your desires, it is going to do anything to manifest them in your life. The choices you make in your life become your goal. And, if you are sincere in pursuing them, there is no reason why you should not accomplish them.

Indecision, on the other hand, not only creates frustration and anxiety, but can also confuse the subconscious mind about what you want. But it is important that the choices you make are made by you, in accordance with your true desires, purposes and aptitude. A lot us of let others make choices for us, or make our choices according to what we think is ‘correct’, even if that means that we go against our wishes. What is right for someone is may not be right for you, and the way to know this is listening to what your heart says.
So, begin with, make a list of things which interests you; things which you have always enjoyed, which makes you feel better, which inspires you to surge ahead, no matter what obstacles you face. Do you like doing something creative, or something artistic? Do you enjoy nature, do you like the sea? Do you enjoy helping others? Do you get pleasure out of making a difference in other people’s life?

What ever it is that interests you, go ahead and make a list under the following headlines:

Things you love to do:

What is it that you love in this thing and why? How you could do this for money, and make a living out of it?

Creating Your Underlying Principle:

The next step is to examine the list you just made and find out if there is any recurring them. Maybe, it is the contribution that keeps coming up, or an effect to seek or give love, or helping your parents cope with old age. Whatever it is try to identify the central them of the things you love to do, and try to put it in a short and precise statement. This will be your ‘Mission Statement’. It may even be a quote by a famous person, or a philosophy that has influenced you. Of course, as you grow up, this statement could evolve, but its soul will remain the same. Now, write down your Mission Statement.

Aligning your LIFE with the Underlying Principle:

The final step in this journey is to map your path to your ultimate purpose. Make the little changes in your lifestyle that would accommodate this principle in your life. LIVE this principle each and every day. It might take a few days, but you will certainly feel the difference in your enthusiasm for life. If you realize that you love being amidst nature, plan out your holiday. Maybe an outing with your children could be enough to recoup with your energy. On the other hand, you might even want to change your job, or start a new business, that is more in line with your mission.

Remember – “Do what you love, and money will follow”.

10 Signs Fear is Running Your Life

fear

By Lissa Rankin MD Contributing Writer for SoulScience

Most people in our culture are riddled with fear, and it’s running the show in our lives, taking the wheel in most of our decision-making. But the funny thing is, we don’t even know it. This is partly because, in our culture, we tend to dress up “fear” in the more socially acceptable clothes of “stress.” And stress—well, hell—stress is practically a badge of success in our culture!

We’ve been taught to think that fear is for sissies. We see it as a weakness, something we should hide from others and deal with alone in dark nights of the soul. But fear is not something that should elicit shame or stay hidden. Now more than ever, our fears need to shamelessly take center stage so we can let fear illuminate everything that is in need of healing in our lives and finally be free. Physical therapist Val Zajicek says PAIN means Pay Attention Inside Now. I think fear is like pain. It’s an emotional and physical signal alerting to you to Pay Attention Inside Now. Rather than running away from it, we need to examine it and let it heal us.

Fear is sneaky, and it shows up in all kinds of disguises, but until you see it for what it is, it’s hard to come into right relationship with fear.

How can you tell if fear is running your show?

1. You find yourself striving in vain for an impossible-to-achieve standard of perfection.

When you’re afraid (of criticism, failure, and rejection), you’ll kill yourself trying to be perfect. But of course, the mask of perfection also separates us from what we most want—real intimacy, to be known, loved, and accepted for our true self.

2. You settle.

When you’re afraid to take risks, defy convention, and go for what you really want, you convince yourself that your less than juicy life—your relationships, your job, the dismal state of Mother Gaia—is as good as it gets. When fear is running the show, you forget how to dream. You compromise in the name of being “realistic.” But settling isn’t realism; it’s a devastating symptom of the fear that what we hope is possible really isn’t. When you make the brave move to get to the other side of these fears, hope returns. It’s not the dashed hope of the crushed idealist; it’s the alive hope of those who are creating a new future, one in which we won’t settle for any less than joy, vitality, even miracles.

3. You say yes when you mean no.

When you’re afraid to disappoint people or get rejected if you don’t say yes, you’ll fall into fear-based, people pleasing, self-sacrificing behaviors that lead to resentment. But when fear is no longer running the show, you say no when it feels self-loving. As they say, “No” is a complete sentence. This doesn’t mean you won’t devote yourself to generosity and service. It means the service stems from a genuine love-based, rather than a fear-based motivation.

4. You say no when you mean yes.

When you’re afraid, you’re unlikely to take risks. You’ll feel the yearning to start your own business, go out with your dream girl, take that bucket list trip, have a baby, or take an art class. But you’ll say no because you’re afraid to fail, afraid to succeed, afraid to get rejected, afraid to stir things up, afraid to get out of your comfort zone. When you let fear cure you, you’ll start letting your soul take the lead, taking leaps of faith and saying yes when you yearn to.

5. You numb yourself with alcohol, drugs, sex, television, or excessive busyness.

Fear causes inner pain, a kind of soul sickness that shows up as depression, anxiety, restlessness, helplessness, hopelessness, frustration, sadness, loneliness, and fatigue. In order to avoid this inner pain, we tend to engage in addictions and other numbing behaviors. But of course, this only puts a very temporary Band-aid on the pain, while increasing feelings of low self-esteem that just increase the inner pain. When you’re not afraid to be quiet with yourself, to face your inner demons, to heal that which longs to be healed from the core, you’ll no longer need alcohol, cigarettes, overeating, workaholism, pain killers, or other numbing distractions. You’ll have the courage to do the deep transformative work that leads you to freedom on the other side of your journey.

6. You procrastinate.

When you’re afraid of putting yourself in the arena because of fear of failure, success, uncertainty, judgment, criticism, or rejection, you’ll tend to stand on the sidelines where you feel safer. When you face fear head on, motivation replaces procrastination. You’re not “going for it” based on a fear-based need to “make it happen.” Instead, the natural inclination towards love and service generates inspired action that leaps you forward towards that which wants to be born through you.

7. You get paralyzed.

When you’re afraid, you avoid making the decisions your soul knows you must make. Your intuition tells you it’s time to leave that toxic relationship. Or quit that soul-sucking job. Or set boundaries with your mother. Or go to rehab. Or speak up about the integrity breaches at work. But you’re terrified of the uncertainty that lies on the other side. If you make a decision, you’ll be thrust out of your comfort zone and into the vast unknown. But what you’ll discover on the other side of fear is that uncertainty is the gateway to possibility. When you don’t know what the future holds, anything could happen.

8. You become a control freak.

When you’re afraid, you feel the need to micromanage everything. You mistakenly think we live in a hostile, random universe that’s out to get you unless you grab the wheel with both hands and steer your life towards what you want and away from what you don’t want. You don’t trust that it’s a purposeful universe, that life is intelligent, that everything that happens helps you grow your soul, even if it’s not what your ego wants. When you make the journey from fear to faith, you trust that it’s a friendly universe. Then you can relax. Surrender to the flow of life, accept what is, let go of the handle, and enjoy the exciting ride. That’s when life gets really fun. Letting go is the frequency of miracles.

9. You muzzle yourself.

When fear is operating you, you’ll avoid speaking up. You won’t stand up for what you believe. You won’t let your voice be heard when your integrity is being threatened. You won’t tell people when they hurt your feelings. You’ll be too afraid to ask for what you really want. But when you let love lead, you start respecting and appreciating the divine voice that flows through you, giving it a voice and inviting it to be heard. And when you’re brave enough to speak your truth, you attract those who resonate with your truth. You find your soul community. Real intimacy grows.

10. You get sick.

Fear isn’t just an uncomfortable emotion that holds you back from following your dreams, connecting soul-to-soul with your true tribe, and serving out your life’s purpose. It also triggers stress responses in the body that put you at risk of disease and make it hard for the body to heal itself. Fearful people are more likely to get heart attacks, cancer, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, chronic pain, and even the common cold. They’re also more likely to experience milder symptoms, such as insomnia, low energy, obesity, dizziness, headaches, backaches, decreased libido, and gastrointestinal distress.

Fear Not!

This is not meant to frighten you. It’s meant to wake you up, give you hope, and inspire you to embark upon the journey of transformation from fear to freedom. Here are a few simple tips to help you get started.
